We absolutely love coming here! I’ve gone axe throwing here three times so far in the past four months. We always have such a great time. If you’re lucky (and you have enough people) you can reserve their outdoor space. It’s nice to be able to have extra room and mingle. The games are lead by a team member and they’re always so personable and engaging. Their team really makes your time playing that much better - it feels like an event. Come here, have a great time, and then come back again. You won’t regret it. This is just some good ‘ole wholesome fun for family and friends.

My family had an amazing experience here. Safety, of course, was most important and explained clearly. The first few minutes were spent giving instructions on how to throw the axes and practicing. Then, the games began. One of the employees stayed with us giving us some competitive games to play and keeping score. All we had to do was focus on having a great time. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

Went here for a work team building event and it did not disappoint. We were in teams and the owners had us do different types of point-building games and compete against each other. As the website states, dress accordingly as you WILL work up a bit of a sweat. Ax throwing works you out!

First let me share this was my 1st time throwing hatchets and I had a blast. Shannon, our Lane Coach, was wonderful! She was knowledgeable and welcoming. I will return and support them with their next endeavor! Thanks for an amazing time of fun & fellowship!

David & Skylar made our first axe throwing experience so fun. David set us up with great technique tips and kept us laughing with his jokes. Skylar was super friendly.

The adults had a blast and our 11 year old daughter loved it, too. We will definitely be back!!

It was awesome. Black Bear has a great setup and wonder people working there. It was my wife's first time axe throwing. She had so much fun. We are already planning our next visit.

This place is the bomb. No joke it's a great time what ever you do decide. They have a paint room, a rage room, and some ax throwing!! 5he staff is super kind and fun to deal with. We did the rage room and just decided to destroying a lot of things for an hour! Highly recommend!

We organized a company team event here and it was great. The splatter room was a blast to blow off some steam and show off our creativity. As for axe throwing, it was so much fun. I've been axe throwing before at other venues, and David, our host made it so much fun with incorporating competition games for our group. Devin, the owner, was super easy to work with to plan our event. Low stress planning for a team event for the win!

Perfect place to go on a cold and windy day (any day really)! We had so much fun and our coach David was highly entertaining with all of the games he organized for us. He also gave some great tips to help the novice throwers!! From ages 12 to 44, we all had an absolute blast. We will definitely be back!!

My husband brought me here to celebrate my birthday and this place did not disappoint! The atmosphere was very lively and the staff was outstanding!! Devon instructed us on how to properly throw and suggested several games to make the experience more fun. Throughout our session he would come check on us and cheered us on during our games. He even gave us a tour after our session was up. We’re VERY excited to come back when they have their rage room!!! 10/10 recommend this place to anyone!!!

Loved my experience here!! Went for a birthday outing and had a blast. Good clean wholesome fun!!! Our trainer was amazing and had a great attitude. Smiles from the time we walked in until we left. I would highly recommend.

Our family really enjoyed our experience here! Our coach (funny guy w/a beard) was great, really worked hard to make sure we learned how to throw well, and also made sure we had fun! My 3 teenage boys are already talking about when we will go back.

Black Bear was great! David was working while we were there and he made the experience even better. After some basic instruction and coaching he kept score and taught us different games to play. We had a wonderful time.

Black Bear Axe throwing is a wonderful business where you can participate in such a fun activity. They have awesome instructors that help you along the way and make everything more fun than your normal bowling/game/activity night. They also have a GREAT seasonal league that is so much fun and fosters great camaraderie. I highly highly recommend!!

One of the most insanely amazing experiences we have had in a long time! Wonderful customer service and fun atmosphere. Devon was great and made our first axe throwing experience wonderful. We will definitely be returning and bringing all our friends with us!  ❤

We had the best time at Timberwolf Axe Throwing! Shannon was a great instructor!! Our family went for a Father’s Day celebration. Great for something different to try. By yourself, large group, small group…..doesn’t matter. We were all newbies. They’ll teach you how and give you scoring games to play with groups. They have a league night and will soon be adding an outdoor space as well. So much fun!!

I usually don’t do reviews however this is a special occasion for the great staff at Black Bear Axe Throwing. The team of family and friends at this establishment makes your axe throwing experience so fun. Much more than anyone can possibly imagine. All I can say is go bye and check them out then you’ll understand.

David the axe throwing instructor is awesome!!! Showed us the ropes and gave us some fun games to play once we felt more confident aiming! Will definitely go again!

We hosted our Christmas party here and had a blast. I heard nothing but positive comments from everyone. Give Devin a call and book your party. You need to give it a try. You will not be disappointed!

Came for my friend Nicole‘s birthday. From the moment we came in to the second we left Shannon was awesome. She gave great direction on how to throw, and even gave us cute nicknames. It was great fun, a great workout will definitely be back.

We had a great experience - the young lady that helped us was great and helped with our forms to have us like pro in no time! We learned a trick shot and enjoyed the games!

Great first time experience! Staff here was great they made the experience even better and the kids enjoyed as well!! Definitely come highly recommended for a hangout spot or date night!

Friendly staff! Great stuff to smash— they offer more than just ace throwing, they offer a rage room and a splatter room! With outdoor axe throwing too.

This was my first time going axe throwing and Christyn was an absolute angel!! She was so much fun and made the whole experience amazing!!! Definitely will be coming back!

This place is AMAZING!! I was able to pull off a surprise 40th birthday party. The staff was helpful from the start and even participated in the surprise! We had a pretty large group and after safety and warm ups, they kept us entertained with games and competition. The facility itself is clean and set up nice. We used the outdoor lanes with a picnic table for food, there were other outdoor games, nice atmosphere. Again, I can't say enough about the staff. Helpful, fun and overall just amazing people. I would highly recommend this place for any gatherings of any size. They will accommodate. We will definitely be returning for many more fun nights!

I don’t leave a lot of reviews but our experience at Black Bear Axe Throwing was so wonderful I had to say something! The owners were amazing, genuine, and friendly. It was our first time ever and the instruction was thorough but very easy to understand. Shannon was lovely and checked on us enough to make sure we really had got our technique down without us feeling like we were being watched. The games are fun and we will absolutely be back! They really went above and beyond for my husband and I and we can’t thank them enough! Very much looking forward to next time.

A good time was had by ALL! First timers, veterans, and even the people not throwing had a fun! Our lane coach, Shannon, was amazingly helpful and kept the fun coming for our group of 4 couples and 2 singles. We got incredible coaching on our technique and played some VERY competitive games in our 2 hour booking.

Devin gave us such a great and personal experience! We had a blast being competitive and playing so many different games.

He learned all of our names right out the gate and it was such a wonderful experience for our group of 7!

Take you’re family it will be a great time all around

We had an absolute blast. This family run business is fantastic and the best experience I've had. I've been axe throwing but my family hasn't and they made the learning process so easy and fun! They were extremely engaging, welcoming and attentive while knowng their stuff. We went on a Thursday which is not as busy and their set up is fantastic because it's not just one big open area. You might get lucky and get a private room to yourself. Great for social distancing and also for enjoying yourselves. Definitely going to go back soon.

We held an office Christmas outing here and it was incredibly fun. Devin was an amazing host. This type of career is perfect for him as he is personable (he learned all like 15 of our names very quickly), quick-witted, and a bit of an entertainer. The outdoor lanes were fun and very nice looking. The extra games, music, and ability to watch some football were added bonuses. I highly recommend this experience.

My family and I went there for a birthday celebration and what an awesome experience! Devin (sp?) was kickass! He helped us get settled, taught us how to throw and checked in multiple times throughout the hour to make sure our experience was good. He was super positive, super enthusiastic and just made the experience better. Establishment was clean, well ran and well worth the money. I’d recommend it to anyone for a date night, outing or just because you wanna have a blast!

Went in a group of six adults and had a blast. We were all first timers but there to have fun. Shannon taught us everything we needed to know. She made it very fun, entertaining and personable. We look forward to going again!

Me and my friends came here for the first time and this was our first time axe throwing too. The staff were beyond helpful by showing us how to throw and keeping score when we formed teams as well. The staff were friendly and I would recommend this establishment to anyone looking to have some fun! We will be back!

We put a little birthday celebration for our 24 year old son and paid for a night of axe throwing with a group of his closest friends that are in town for the Holidays and they had a great time! Shannon and Devin are fantastic hosts along with the Hartley the lane coach and made sure everyone had a great time! Thank you for showing them a good time!! Can wait to put together a group and come myself :)

This place is so awesome! The owners are so helpful and just all around good people. My roommate and I try to be there every Thursday. They have apparel too. All the clothes look true to size and are very comfortable in feeling. I bought a t-shirt and plan to get the hoodie.

We've had 2 parties here and hands down the most fun we've had! Customer service is amazing. Seriously, everyone is so nice! The throwing coaches really helped and everyone was confident by the end. This is my favorite kind of therapy! GO, just GO!!
